








Desere M. StringfieldNEW CASTLE, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Delaware State Police have arrested a woman they say committed two armed robberies in New Castle.
Twenty-one-year-old Desere M. Stringfield of Wilmington was arrested Aug. 29 and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of wearing a disguise during the commission of a robbery. She is being held on $65,000 secured bond.
Police said Stringfield robbed two stores at gunpoint on Aug. 10. The Wawa Food Market on East Basin Road was robbed at 2:10 a.m. The Valero Shore Stop on South DuPont Highway was robbed an hour later.
