WILMINGTON, Del.- The Delaware Child Predator Task Force has arrested a man accused of distributing child pornography over the Internet.

According to authorities, an undercover investigation into the online distribution of child pornography led them to a home at the 100 block of 5th Avenue in Browntown in New Castle County.

A search warrant was obtained on Thursday, Sept. 6, for the seizure of any computers or digital media within the home.

Police said a laptop computer was taken back to Delaware State Police Troop 2 for forensic analysis, which revealed what detectives referred to as an "extensive" quantity of child pornography images.

Investigators said 25 videos and numerous pictures were located depicting children engaged in sex acts, with victims ranging from 11- and 13-year-olds to babies less than 1-year-old.

Kristopher J. Loeb, 34, of Browntown, was contacted by police outside of the home and taken to DSP Troop 2 for questioning.

According to police, based upon the files recovered from the laptop found in his home, Loeb has been charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography.

Loeb was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $50,000 secured bail per count – a total of $1.25 million.
