REHOBOTH, Del.- Authorities are investigating several reports of indecent exposure incidents occurring in the Delaware Seashore State Park after a Nevada man was charged with exposing himself in the area.

According to Delaware State Parks Enforcement, 54-year-old James P. Gaske of Henderson, Nev., was arrested on Sept. 7, on numerous charges of indecent exposure and sexual harassment.

Rangers responded to reports of a man exposing himself to children and adults at the Indian River Inlet South East Day Area swimming beach bathhouse on Aug. 29, 30 and Sept. 4.

Police said that after each incident, the suspect fled but witnesses were able to give authorities a physical description of the man.

According to reports, rangers increased patrols in the area and undercover officers arrested a man matching the suspect's description in the bathhouse.

Police said Gaske was arrested and charged with four counts of first degree indecent exposure, two counts of sexual harassment attempting to induce sexual contact, three counts of disorderly conduct and a single count of second degree indecent exposure.

According to police, Gaske was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution, pending trial at a later date.

Anyone with additional information about related incidents at the park is asked to contact the State Parks Enforcement Section at (302) 739-9221.
