Wicomico County Football Coach Acquitted of Sex Charge

SALISBURY, Md.- A Wicomico County Circuit Court jury on Tuesday found a Wicomico High School football coach not guilty of third-degree sex offense.

Forty-five-year-old David Nettles of Salisbury was arrested in March after an individual alleged he committed an act considered to be a third-degree sexual offense.

While Nettles was acquitted of that charge, he is still scheduled to go on trial in late October for charges filed against him in an unrelated sex case.
