Marie Mayor Wins Del. Democratic Primary for District 20 Seat

LEWES, Del.- Marie Mayor has won the Democratic primary for the newly-created 20th District Senate seat, beating challengers Lynn Rogers and Thomas Jones.

With 10 out of 10 precincts reporting, Mayor garnered 1,777 votes, compared to 525 votes for Rogers and 112 for Jones.

District 20 encompasses the Lewes, Milton, Harbeson and surrounding areas in Sussex County.

Mayor will face off against Republican challenger Stephen Smyk in the November general election.
