2 Charged With Armed Robbery of Gas Station in Parsonsburg

PARSONSBURG, Md.- Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the Sept. 5 holdup of the Sunoco gas station on Walston Switch Road in Parsonsburg.

The Wicomico Bureau of Investigation said that on the evening of the crime, 32-year-old James Hill and 25-year-old Carlos Gonzales, both of Parsonsburg, drove up to the Sunoco. Investigators said one of the suspects, who was armed with a handgun, went inside the business and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of cash. He then ran out of the store and fled in the vehicle driven by the other suspect, police said.

There were no reported injuries. 

Police said that on Sept. 7, Hill and Gonzales were charged with armed robbery and related offenses. They are currently being held in New Jersey and are awaiting extradition to Maryland.
