Convicted Salisbury Armed Robber Sentenced to 24 Years

SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities said a Salisbury man will spend over two decades in prison following his conviction Wednesday of armed robbery.

James Webb, 22, was found guilty of three counts of armed robbery, three counts of robbery, three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, three counts of false imprisonment, theft less than $100, and two counts of theft less than $1,000.

Police said that the armed robberies and related events occurred on March 12 at 929 Johnson St. in Salisbury, and March 16 at the Family Dollar at 1527 N. Salisbury Blvd., also in Salisbury.

Wicomico County State's Attorney Matthew A. Maciarello commended the Salisbury Police Department for its work in the investigation and prosecution of this case. Maciarello also thanked Assistant State's Attorney Kristen Schultz who prosecuted this case.
