VIENNA, Md.- Maryland State Police say they have arrested two people in connection with the rape of a mentally challenged 19-year-old woman in Dorchester County.
On Aug. 29, troopers said they learned that 46-year-old Dawn Marie Boyd of Vienna used the victim to have sex with 39-year-old Bryant Anthony Lake in Parsonsburg, in exchange for drugs.
Boyd was arrested on Sept. 10 and charged with human trafficking, conspiracy to commit rape and related charges. She was ordered held in the Dorchester County Detention Center on $150,000 bond.
On Sept. 11, Lake was arrested and charged with rape, sex offense and related charges. He was ordered held at the DCDC on $200,000 bond.
