Trappe Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident

TRAPPE, Md.- Maryland State Police said a Trappe man suffered serious head trauma following a motorcycle accident in Talbot County.

According to police, troopers responded to a crash Thursday, Sept. 13, on Lovers Lane Road located south of Farms Lane in Trappe.  

Troopers said 40-year-old Oscar Michael Estevez was traveling southbound on the grassy shoulder on a Kawasaki KX250 off-road motorcycle that he recently repaired.

Investigators report that there were no witnesses and little evidence at the scene. Police said that upon their arrival, Estevez was conscious but unable to communicate.

According to police, Estevez was flown from the scene by a MSP helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Police said that the investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
