HARTLY, Del. (AP) - Police in Delaware have arrested a man after he crashed his car into a house in Hartly while apparently driving under the influence.

Police say the crash happened at about 3:35 a.m. Saturday. Police say 34-year-old Marvin G. Vasquez of Marydel was driving a 1998 Ford Taurus on Halltown Road when he crossed the center line of the road, drove across a residential lawn, continued through a fence and struck a residence located at 100 Downes Drive.

Police say neither Vasquez nor any occupants of the residence were injured. Vasquez was issued a citation.

Police did not say how much damage the crash did to the house and did not have any information about whether the crash had damaged the home's structural integrity.
