STEVENSVILLE, Md.- Due to inclement weather, two-way operations (during which one lane of eastbound traffic is directed to the westbound span) are not in effect at this time on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority. Drivers should expect delays. Officials said they will continue to monitor weather conditions and will implement two-way operations if possible and if needed.

Wind restrictions remain in effect on the bridge. House trailers, empty box trucks or trailers, motor homes, campers, hitch trailers with sizes or a load that tends to restrict wind, or any other vehicle that in the opinion of law-enforcement personnel may not cross safely are prohibited from crossing the bridge.

Call 1-877-BAYSPAN (229-7726) for around-the-clock updates on Bay Bridge traffic conditions. For Statewide traffic conditions, visit md511.org.
