Boy Carrying Stick Hurt When it Touches Power Line - WBOC-TV 16, Delmarvas News Leader, FOX 21 -

SEVERNA PARK, Md. (AP)- Fire officials say a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured when a stick he was carrying came into contact with a power line in Severna Park.

Authorities say the boy was walking on of Randell Road about 12:30 p.m. Monday carrying a bamboo pole. The pole touched a power line.

The boy was taken to Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital in Baltimore with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
