LINCOLN, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for two suspects wanted for beating a man during an early Monday morning home invasion in Lincoln.

Police said that shortly before 3 a.m., the 48-year-old victim was inside his home on the 17000 block of Staytonville Road when he heard someone knocking on his door. Investigators said that when the victim opened the door, two male suspects forced their way inside the home and began to physically assault him while demanding money and property. The suspects then bound the victim and took undisclosed property from the home before running out of the house and fleeing the scene, according to police. The victim was able to flee from the home and went to a neighbor's house for assistance.

The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries received during the assault and released.

No additional details about the suspects were available.
