HARRINGTON, Del.- Harrington police say officers arrested a man after an investigation of his vehicle led to the discovery of heroin and an outstanding warrant.
Police said that on Saturday, Sept. 22, officers responded to a complaint about a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Royal Farms. The vehicle was reported to be occupied and had been in the parking lot for over 45 minutes with the passenger door open.
According to reports, authorities located 36-year-old William S. Robbins of Milford and discovered that there was a warrant for his arrest in Sussex County.
Police said that while searching the vehicle, they found six hypodermic needles, two bags of heroin and three amphetamine capsules.
Robbins was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered held in the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $8,000 secured bond.
