WILMINGTON, Del.- The Delaware Child Predator Task Force has arrested a Milford man accused of sexually soliciting a teenage girl.
According to the Delaware Department of Justice, the Child Predator Task Force launched an investigation after the 17-year-old victim and her mother reported to authorities that the had girl received illicit text messages from a man.
Investigators said the victim knew the man and the two had exchanged messages. During this exchange, investigators said the man sent the girl a message soliciting her for a sexual act and later that day sent her a picture of his genitalia.
Authorities arrested 42-year-old Theodore M. Campbell of the 100 block of N. Landing Drive in Milford on Sept. 17. He was charged with one count of sexual solicitation of a child under 18 to engage in a prohibited sex act.
Campbell was released on $7,500 unsecured bail. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim or the victim's family and was prohibited from using the Internet, investigators said.
