EASTON, Md.- Authorities say a Fruitland man's joyride ended early Tuesday morning when he was stopped by Easton police.
According to reports, at approximately 3:42 a.m. on Sept. 25, Easton police stopped 25-year-old Steven F. Buchanan Jr. for speeding on Ocean Gateway near Dover Road.
Police said that further investigation revealed that the truck he was operating had been reported stolen earlier on Sept. 25, and that Buchanan also had a revoked driver's license.
Buchanan was arrested and charged with theft over $10,000, unlawful taking of a vehicle, speeding, driving suspended and driving revoked. He was released on personal recognizance.
