DOVER, Del. (AP)- The owners of a solar power plant in Dover are asking a judge to overturn approval for a natural gas power plant next to their facility.
White Oak Solar Energy says dust from construction and emissions from the natural gas plant will cut their output.
Houston-based Calpine Corp. has proposed building the natural gas plant. Both companies have lease agreements with the city for adjacent lots in the 400-acre Garrison Oak Technical Park.
White Oak filed the petition in Superior Court claiming that the Dover Planning Commission failed to take in account their concerns.
