MILLSBORO, Del. (AP/WBOC) - A homeless man has been charged with robbing a man pumping gas in Millsboro.
Delaware State Police said Gary Laskowski, 32, was arrested shortly after the robbery Saturday evening.
Police said Laskowski pointed a handgun at a man filling his vehicle at the Uncle Willies BP gas station on Long Neck Road. Police said the man told Laskowski he did not have any money, and Laskowski went through the man's pockets and took some cash.
The robber fled in a sport-utility vehicle, and police said the vehicle was quickly pulled over. Laskowski was in the passenger seat and was arrested, and the loaded handgun was still in the SUV. The female driver was not charged.
Laskowski faces charges including first-degree robbery and possession of a deadly weapon during a felony.
