








DOVER, Del.– With 12 new faces on the roster and just two seniors, the Delaware State University softball team will hit the field with eight fall exhibition contests, interim head coach Janice Savage announced late Tuesday morning.
The Hornets will play four games this weekend at the Hornets Nest against Coppin State (Saturday; 12:30 p.m.), CCBC (Saturday; 3 p.m.), Washington College (Sunday; 2:30 p.m.) and Del Tech Stanton (Sunday; 4:30 p.m.).
The team will then travel to the College Park, Md. to take on Maryland and George Washington on Oct. 13-14.
