New Bennett Middle School Gets Funding

SALISBURY, Md.- The Wicomico County Council on Tuesday voted to approve funding for construction of the new Bennett Middle School in Salisbury.  

The vote was 5 to 2, with Council President Joe Holloway and Bob Culver voting against it.

The funding for the new Bennett Middle School project will come in the form of $12.5 million in bonds, sold to Citibank with a 1.8 percent interest rate.
