Delaware Agencies Continue Regulatory Reviews

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware's Department of Labor is accepting public comment on whether certain of its regulations need to be revised or abolished.

The regulatory review for the Labor Department is the subject of a public meeting Wednesday evening at the University of Delaware's Paradee Center in Dover.

The regulatory review stems from an executive order signed by Gov. Jack Markell in June.

The order establishes a process for the review of certain regulations by state agencies. The order requires agencies to accept public input to identify regulations that are at least three years old for possible changes or elimination.

The regulatory review is intended to try to make interaction with government agencies more user-friendly for businesses and citizens.
