REISTERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - Baltimore County police have arrested a man they say kidnapped his tenant after they argued over how much the tenant paid for scrap metal.
Police say the men work at a salvage company, and the victim rents a room from the other man. Officers say the men argued over how much the victim paid for a load, and the man demanded $2,000 that the victim allegedly overpaid.
The two went to their home, and the victim asked the man to drive him to his brother's house.
Police say once the two got in the car, the man pulled a gun and demanded that the victim get $2,000 from his brother. The victim called his brother, who called police.
Twenty-nine-year-old Justin Gorham was arrested and charged with kidnapping and other offenses.
