GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a Millsboro man has died of injuries received in a single-car crash in Georgetown.

Troopers say 53-year-old Oliver Ayars died Monday at Christiana Hospital, where he was flown after the Sept. 8 accident.

Police say Ayars was traveling north on Gravel Hill Road approaching a sharp "S'' curve. Troopers say Ayars' car began to rotate, crossed the center line, slid off the road and hit a utility pole.

The crash is under investigation.
