Rehoboth Beach Police Seek Suspect's ID in Restaurant Assault

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- The Rehoboth Beach Police Department is requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that occurred at a restaurant back in the summer.

The crime is alleged to have happened at around midnight on Aug. 19, at the Purple Parrot Restaurant on Rehoboth Avenue. Investigators said that just outside of the restaurant, a suspect hit another man in the neck and fled the area.

The victim was transported to Beebe Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released. 

Police released photos of the assault suspect who is described as white, approximately 20-25 years of age, 150-175 pounds and with short brown hair.
