OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP)- Baltimore Ravens rookie placekicker Justin Tucker vividly remembers his first field goal try in the NFL.
It was only a preseason game, but Tucker recalls his heart "beating out of his chest" before he nailed that 36-yarder in Atlanta.
Things are different now for Tucker, who has made 11 of 12 field goal tries in four games. He says, "...Every kick is still like, 'Wow. This is awesome.'"
Tucker replaced veteran Billy Cundiff, who was cut by the Washington Redskins on Tuesday.
Tucker beat New England last month with a field goal as time expired, and last Sunday he scored all of Baltimore's points in a 9-6 win at Kansas City.
Tucker and the Ravens (4-1) face the Dallas Cowboys (2-2) on Sunday. Tucker grew up a Cowboys fan.
