Man Assaulted in Salisbury Armed Robbery

SALISBURY, Md.- Police are looking for a group of suspects who attacked a man during an armed robbery that took place Wednesday night at a Salisbury home.

Police said that shortly before 10 p.m., five to six male suspects entered a home on the 700 block of Vermont Avenue and accosted the victims at gunpoint. The suspects stole electronics and other property from the home prior to fleeing the area. Police said that during the incident, the suspects assaulted a man inside the home. He was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries and released.

According to investigators, the suspects were described as follows:

  • Hispanic or black male with light complexion, 5-foot-10, with stocky build and short hair
  • Black male, 5-foot-10, with thin build and short hair
  • Black male, 6-foot-tall, with stocky build
  • Two to three additional black males (no further description)

All suspects were described as being in their late teens to early 20s.
