








COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is set to open the new Center for Weather and Climate Prediction.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Monday in College Park.
Sen. Barbara Mikulski is scheduled to attend. Mikulski, D-Md., chairs the Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations Subcommittee, which funds NOAA.
Acting U.S. Commerce Secretary Rebecca Blank and NOAA Administrator Jane Lubchenco are also scheduled to attend.
