Man Cut During Struggle With Armed Robber - WBOC-TV 16, Delmarvas News Leader, FOX 21 -

NEWARK, Del. (AP)- Delaware State Police say a man was cut during a struggle with an armed robber in Newark.

It happened about 9:15 p.m. Sunday in the parking of the University Plaza Shopping Center. Police say the victim was approached by a woman who asked him for money. When the victim went to the woman, a man came running out of nearby woods, displayed a knife and demanded money.

Police say a struggle ensued and the victim was cut on his upper body. The man and the woman fled on foot.

The victim was treated and released at a local hospital.
