CHESTERTOWN, Md.- Washingotn College senior soccer goalkeeper Tyler Cabot (Hightstown, NJ/Peddie School) is this week's Shoreman of the Week.
Cabot made nine saves and posted two shutouts in a 2-0 week for the Shoremen. Cabot made three saves in a 4-0 non-conference win over Penn State-Brandywine Wednesday and then made six stops in a 2-0 Centennial Conference win over McDaniel Saturday. He now has five shutouts on the season, accounting for all of the Shoremen's wins.
Senior volleyball player Jenny Lee (Wilmington, DE/Mount Pleasant) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week.
Lee averaged 3.50 kills, 0.83 aces, and 0.67 blocks per set in a 2-1 week for the Shorewomen. She hit .278 on the week with 42 total kills against 10 errors in 115 attempts. Lee opened the week with 17 kills and seven digs in a thrilling 25-23, 19-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-13, win at Goucher Thursday. She then recorded 13 kills, four blocks, and three aces in a 24-26, 25-21, 25-23, 25-21, loss to Dickinson Saturday before finishing the week with 12 kills, five aces, and three blocks in a 27-25, 25-17, 25-21, win at Wesley Sunday.
