EASTON, Md.- Police have arrested a suspect accused of stealing more than $10,000 worth of merchandise from a storage facility in Easton.
Easton police began investigation in September after the owner of the storage facility noticed merchandise was missing, including antiques that were locked in cages.
Easton Police have arrested Steven Rampmeyer, 48, of Easton. He is charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary, theft of under $100,000, theft scheme and two counts of posession of drug paraphernalia. He was an employee of the storage facility at the time of the burglaries, police said.
Rampmeyer was ordered held in the Talbot County Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond.
