DOVER, Del.- Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for holding up a Dover hotel at gunpoint.
Dover police said that at around 8:45 p.m. Monday, a male suspect entered the Capitol Inn on North DuPont Highway, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He received an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk before fleeing in a dark colored SUV that was waiting for him outside the business. No injuries were reported.
According to police, the suspect was described as black, in his mid-20s, between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-tall, clean-shaven, wearing blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt over a long white T-shirt.
