SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities say a Salisbury man faces charges after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
Police said that shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 12, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office responded to the 700 block of Camellia Road for the reported incident.
According to investigators, 32-year-old Darnell F. Cotton became angry with his girlfriend and hit her in the face after she came to his home and caught him with another woman.
Cotton was arrested and charged with second-degree assault. He was released on personal recognizance.
