








BEAR, Del. (AP)- The Delaware State Police are investigating a car crash in Bear that killed a 15-year-old pedestrian.
Police say the crash happened Wednesday at about 9:27 p.m. Police say the female teenager was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Pulaski Highway. As she ran from a grass median onto the roadway she was struck by a 2008 Nissan Altima.
The driver of the Altima, 25-year-old Katelyn Nelson of Elkton, Md., was not injured and no charges have been filed against her.
The teen was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name was not released.
