lasagna noodles
1 container (15 oz) ricotta cheese
3.8 oz sliced black olives
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ cup basil leaves
3/4 cup chopped spinach (cooked)
1 egg
2 cups Italian-blend cheese (shredded)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 ½ cups pasta sauce
½ lb ground beef
½ lb Italian sausage
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook lasagna noodles as per package directions. Cook ground beef and sausage, drain, mix beef and sausage together and set aside. Mix the ricotta cheese, spinach, salt, pepper, basil leaves and egg in mixing bowl until completely blended.
In a 11 x 7 x 2 baking dish, spread enough pasta sauce to coat bottom. Lay one layer of lasagna noodles in dish. Spread half of the ricotta blend on noodles then evenly spread half of the beef and sausage. Add half of the Italian cheese then repeat with pasta sauce.
