UD Suspends Class Monday, Cancels Events

NEWARK, Del.- With Tropical Storm Sandy approaching, all University of Delaware classes will be suspended Monday, Oct. 29.

Officials are also strongly encouraging students to go home, and to depart campus as soon as possible, recognizing that the weather will begin deteriorating Saturday evening.

    Another Wicomico County community has private wells with contaminated ground water.  Officials in the Wicomico County Health Department say 8 well in the Doe Run subdivision near Salisbury contain low levels of 1,2 dichloropropane.  This contamination, according to officials, is not connected to the TCE that was found in the Morris Mill community.
