Salisbury/Wicomico County Government Office Building to Closed Mon. and Tues.

SALISBURY, Md.- Due to heavy rains, storm-force winds and high probability of flooding, Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt Jr. and City of Salisbury Mayor James Ireton Jr. announce that the Government Office Building will be closed on Monday, Oct. 29, and Tuesday, Oct. 30, for the safety of its employees.  

All essential employees, such as those who provide services "relating to the health, safety and welfare of our citizens" are required to report to work, in addition to those who are designated by their directors.  

The Wicomico County Health Department will also be closed for both days.
