Del. Woman Arrested After Marijuana Plants Found

NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Newark police have arrested a woman they say was growing marijuana in her home.

Police say after receiving several anonymous tips they executed a search warrant on the home on Oct. 24. Officers say they found 51 marijuana plants and 91 grams of cultivated marijuana. Investigators say they also found grow lights, fans, a ventilation system and a watering system.

Fifty-seven-year-old Judith McDonald was charged Wednesday with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and other offenses. She was released on $7,000 unsecured bond.
