








NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a Wilmington woman was killed when the car she was driving left the road, hitting a culvert and a tree.
It happened about 11:55 p.m. Saturday on Churchmans Road in New Castle. Troopers say 28-year-old Toni Mays was traveling east when her car crossed the center line.
Police say Mays overcorrected and her car left the road, struck a culvert, traveled over a grassy area, and hit a tree.
Mays was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
