NEWARK, Del. (AP)- Newark police have charged a Wilmington man with burglary and other offenses after they say he was seen with lingerie and crouching outside a home.
Officers were called about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to Choate Street after a passerby saw a man near a first-floor window. Police say responding officers saw women's lingerie hanging from the waistband of the man's pants.
Authorities say the man fled and an officer deployed a stun gun, striking him.
Thirty-nine-year-old Sean Maas has been charged with burglary, trespass with intent to peep or peer. Police say Maas had gained entry to a home and stole the lingerie.
