Police: Del. Man Hid Drugs in Prosthetic Leg

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP/WBOC)- Wilmington police have arrested a man they say hid drugs in his prosthetic leg.

Police say they saw a man standing in the middle of North Claymont Street on Friday afternoon yelling obscenities. Officers say the man, 51-year-old Jose Santiago, had several outstanding arrest warrants and was taken into custody.

Police searched Santiago at headquarters and officers say they found 2.5 grams of crack cocaine and 2.8 grams of marijuana inside his prosthetic leg.

Santiago was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine and disorderly conduct.
