Markell to Talk Education at Ideas Forum

DOVER, Del. (AP)- Delaware Gov. Jack Markell is joining some big-name speakers in Washington to talk about education.

Markell was among those invited to participate Wednesday in the Washington Ideas Forum, a 2-day event that brings together government leaders, business executives, celebrities, members of academia and top journalists.

Markell was to join Joel Klein, former chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, for a conversation about education initiatives.

Other forum participants include Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and former ambassador to China Jon Huntsman.
