William Reed Shirley IIIWILLARDS, Md.- Deputies with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office have arrested a Willards man charged with possession of child pornography.
William Reed Shirley III, 28, was taken into custody on Nov. 9 on an outstanding Circuit Court indictment charging him with the aforementioned offense. According to police, the indictment was issued after following an investigation of Shirley for the possession and distribution of child pornography. The investigation was handled by detectives assigned to the Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center.
Following his arrest, Shirley was ordered held in the county detention center in lieu of $50,000 bond.
