SALISBURY, Md.- Maryland State Police
are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred just before 8 a.m.
Saturday in Salisbury.
According to police, troopers responded to
the area of Route 13 southbound, near St. Luke's Road, for a single-vehicle
collision. Upon arrival, troopers discovered a 1993 Jeep Cherokee, driven by
Daniel Webster Wax of Fruitland, had collided with a tree after leaving the roadway.
Police said responding troopers have reason to believe the collision was due to
a medical emergency.
According to MSP, Wax was the only occupant
of the vehicle. Wax was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where
he was later pronounced deceased.
