Salisbury Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

SALISBURY, Md.- An 18-year-old Salisbury man is facing charges of possession and distribution of child pornography following an investigation by the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office.

Akshay Rajashekar, of the 27000 block of Equestrian Drive in Salisbury, was arrested Tuesday by a Wicomico County Sheriff's deputy on an open Circuit Court indictment, issued Nov. 5 after the conclusion of the investigation.

Rajashekar is now being held without bond, pending an appearance in front of a Circuit Court Judge.
