MILTON, Del.- Delaware State Police are investigating an early Sunday shooting in Milton that put a man in the hospital.
According to police, at around 1:20 a.m. troopers responded to Nika Lane, in the area of Martins Farm Road, where they discovered a 23-year-old Milton man suffering from several gunshot wounds to the lower extremities.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery for his injures. His wounds are not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.
