Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Child Coercion

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP)- A Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to attempted coercion and enticement of a minor after he traveled to Delaware to meet with a fictitious 14-year-old girl.

Forty-three-year-old Scott Allen Rupert, age 43, of Pottstown, Pa., entered the plea on Wednesday. He faces a mandatory minimum of 20 years in prison at sentencing April 4.

According to court documents, Rupert contacted a federal agent posing as a teenager in a chat room. Prosecutors say Rupert sent the undercover agent sexually explicit images of himself and arranged to meet the fictitious girl in a Delaware state park.
