Sessions aimed to help improve software testing and application performance
Philadelphia (PRWEB) November 27, 2012
As part of its sponsorship of HP Discover 2012, Shunra, the industry-recognized authority in network virtualization for software testing, will present four education sessions. These sessions offer traditional and mobile application developers, testers, and project managers valuable insight and techniques they can use to improve the performance and reliability of their applications. Shunra will also have its knowledgeable application performance engineering consultants available for further questions in Booth 406 where they will provide free website performance analyses.
“HP’s recent World Quality Report clearly highlights the lack of mobile application testing occurring at the enterprise level,” said Bill Varga, Shunra COO. “Whether it is due to a lack of understanding, available tools, or capable testing infrastructure, companies are losing revenue and reputation by continuing to deploy failing or underperforming apps. With our sessions at HP Discover, we hope to provide IT professionals with resources and knowledge that can make an immediate impact on the quality of applications and accuracy of testing practices at their respective organizations.”
Shunra’s education sessions include:
Shunra’s mobile app testing experts and performance engineers will also be available at Booth 406 for further discussion on how organizations can best maximize their apps using Shunra NV (Network Virtualization) for HP Performance Center and HP LoadRunner, both of which are now available directly through HP.
“It’s amazing how often the mobile network is not taken into consideration in mobile app testing,” said Varga. “Network conditions represent the most significant influence on end user experience. Through the combination of real-world network emulation, provided by Shunra Network Virtualization, and the tried-and-true testing functions of HP Performance Center and LoadRunner, organizations can now experience a true picture of what their end users are experiencing when using an application and fix issues accordingly.”
