DOVER, Del.- Dover police are searching for a group of masked suspects who burst into a hotel room and robbed a man.
Police said that at around 9 p.m. Wednesday, the 69-year-old victim was sitting inside his room at the Dover Budget Inn, located at 383 N. DuPont Highway, when three unknown males forced open the door. Police said the suspects demanded money from the victim before grabbing him and removing cash from his pockets. The victim's cellphone was also taken during the incident.
Investigators said there were three additional male suspects outside of the room who did not enter during the robbery. All of the suspects were wearing scarves covering their faces, according to police.
The suspects were last seen running toward Towne Point following the robbery.
