MILFORD, Del.- Authorities are investigating a Thursday fire that caused thousands of dollars in damage to a Milford storage facility.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office said the blaze broke out shortly after 10 a.m. at the one-story facility on the 1000 block of East Masten Circle.
The Carlisle Fire Department responded to the scene and was assisted by several surrounding fire departments. Upon arrival they encountered heavy fire from the building.
There were no reported injuries. Damages have been estimated at $50,000.
Deputy State Fire marshals are working to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
