GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say they are looking for a driver involved in fatal hit-and-run crash accident.
Police say the unidentified victim was ejected from a vehicle on Interstate 97 early Tuesday. The unidentified man was apparently standing up when he was struck by another vehicle that did not stop. The accident occurred between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.
State police say the man was ejected along with the driver when the truck they were in hit the median and overturned. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The identities of the two and the condition of the driver were not immediately released.
